The Lamar County Human Resources Department is responsible for aiding county departments in recruiting and selecting employees, maintaining employee records, administering all employee benefits including health, dental, vision, life and retirement, assisting all employees with their benefit questions and concerns, conducting employee training on various topics including safety, retirement and harassment issues and overseeing the Workers’ Compensation Program.
