For over twenty years 9-1-1 Emergency Services have existed. Today with enhanced technology E-9-1-1 emergency response has improved a great deal. Every Wireline(landline) telephone number that is issued has an E-9-1-1 physical address so when 9-1-1 is called the correct information will display on a dispatcher's screen allowing the appropriate emergency agencies to respond.
